Burglaries
A burglar or burglars broke into a home on the 5100 block of Sandy Banks Road between 9 a.m. March 5 and 1 p.m. March 7. Surround sound equipment, a black leather jacket and other items worth $1,400 were stolen.
A burglar entered a home on the 4800 block of Windblown Court on March 6. He or she stole jewelry and perfume valued at $815.
Burglars broke into a home on the 8400 block of Whisper Ridge Place between 3 and 4 a.m. March 4. They stole an Xbox 360, an LCD television and a checkbook totaling $2,945.
Someone entered a home on the 4700 block of Treadstone Drive between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 3. He or she stole a digital camera, a laptop and other personal property worth $1,800.
A burglar slipped into an apartment on the 4700 block of East Capital Club Drive between 10 and 10:30 a.m. March 4. He or she stole gold rings worth $400.
Police responded to a burglary at an apartment at 6001 E. Shanda Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 2. A Playstation 3, a flat screen television and other property totaling $2,600 were stolen.
Someone broke into a home on the 5600 block of Shadowbrook Drive between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. March 2. He or she stole a flat screen television and a vase worth $1,400.
Burglars entered a home on the 9200 block of Bruckhaus Street between 5 and 8 p.m. March 4. They stole a television, video game systems and other personal property valued at $2,600.
Larcenies from motor vehicles
A thief stole a muffler from a vehicle parked on the 4000 block of Twickenham Court between 6 p.m. March 4 and 2 p.m. March 5. The part is valued at $600.
Someone broke into a vehicle parked on the 2800 block of Rue Sans Famille between 5:30 and 6 p.m. March 4. He or she stole a laptop, a briefcase and a power adapter valued at $2,000.
A thief or thieves broke into a vehicle parked on the 6700 block of Six Forks Road between 4 and 8 a.m. March 5. They stole a GPS unit valued at $200.
A thief slipped into a vehicle parked outside an apartment at 2409 Still Forest Place between midnight and 11 a.m. March 5. He or she stole a laptop worth $500.
Motor vehicle thefts
A thief or thieves stole a black 2007 Cadillac Escalade from a parking lot at 3204 Capital Blvd. between midnight and 11 a.m. March 2. The vehicle is valued at $40,000.
Someone stole a green 2000 GMC Jimmy from a parking lot at 3827 Bonneville Court between 12:05 and 1:30 p.m. March 2.
