Welcome Back Sun!

Welcome Back Sun! Celebrating the Season of Light, a program for children ages 7-9, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Historic Yates Mill County Park, 4620 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh. Shorter days and longer nights are celebrated all over the world with music, food and festive good cheer. Make paper lanterns, play a classic solstice game and share in Michael Emberly’s award-winning story, “Welcome Back, Sun!” Cost is $4 per child. Registration is required.
