Blood drive at library

A blood drive is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at North Regional Library, 7009 Harps Mill Road, Raleigh. To schedule an appointment, search www.redcross.org and enter the sponsor code “Wake Library.” Walk-ins are accepted.

Loose as a Goose

A program on waterfowl is set for 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday at Blue Jay Point County Park, 3200 Pleasant Union Church Road, Raleigh. Registration is required. Cost is $5 per family. For information, call 919-870-4330.
