Pet of the Week: Zeus

Get to know him: Zeus is a 6-year-old tricolor Sheltie who is available for adoption through Triangle Sheltie Rescue. Zeus loves to run around and play. He’s a big boy of 30 lbs. but not really overweight. He also knows several tricks such as sit and down. He has strong herding skills, so a home with older children would be better, if not adult only.

For more information: Triangle Sheltie Rescue of North Carolina is an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless Shetland sheepdogs in North Carolina and nearby states. While in the care of TSR, shelties are spayed or neutered, then placed in foster homes to be nurtured, loved and housetrained. Foster parents learn each dog’s temperament and work on obedience and behavior training, allowing the dog to be placed in an environment best for both the dog and the adoptee.
