League champion Millbrook leads Cap 8 girls soccer all-conference list

Millbrook’s girls soccer team finished the season ranked No. 24 in the nation, registering just two losses both to the country’s No. 1 team and NCHSAA 4A champion Green Hope.

The Wildcats (21-2-1) were undefeated in conference play with one game ending in a tie to take the Cap Eight crown. The team’s second loss to Green Hope, in a 4-3 overtime thriller, ended its state tournament run in the third round.

Seven Millbrook players were named to the all-conference list, the most of any school.
