Wake Health Services appoints Goff
Wake Health Services has named Dr. David A. Goff as its chief clinical officer.
Goff is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and will bring more than 25 years of experience to Wake Health Services. He has served as the medical director of KEY Physicians and as a director of quality with the N.C. Division of Medical Assistance.
He completed his undergraduate degree at N.C. State University and attended medical school at UNC Chapel Hill.
Boles receives scholarship
Jasmine Boles, a 2013 graduate of Millbrook High, was awarded the James Monroe Harris Scholarship by the Education and Scholarship Ministry of the Body of Christ Church. The award is given to active members of the church who demonstrate strong academic performance and community service participation.
Boles is pursuing an industrial engineering system degree at N.C. A&T in Greensboro.
Danis hires Allen as project manager
Randy Allen has been named project manager at Danis, a commercial construction company in North Carolina.
Allen has previously worked on the Project Dolphin Data Center in Maiden and City Plaza, Marriott City Center and the city of Raleigh Underground Parking Deck in Raleigh.
Allen earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at N.C. State University and is an accredited LEED GREEN associate.
Dawson graduates from BRAG internship program
Dawaun Dawson, a student at St. Augustine’s University, has graduated from the BRAG 2013 summer internship program. BRAG offers guidance to students and young professionals of color who are interested in careers in the fashion and retail industries.
During the program, Dawson interned at Foot Locker, where he was awarded a $5,000 scholarship from Foot Locker Foundation.
