Greenway patrol

The Raleigh City Council has approved a volunteer program for residents interested in patrolling greenways. The program is designed to promote greenway courtesy and safety, provide information to the public and summon aid for greenway users. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Carolinas chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with fundraising and events. For more information, call 919-845-2155 or visit www.cff.org/Chapters/carolinas.

SPCA of Wake County

The SPCA of Wake County needs volunteers for various activities at adoption centers and events. Help with kittens, puppies and rabbits. For more information, visit www.spcawake.org.

Drivers needed

The Center for Volunteer Caregiving is looking for volunteers to drive seniors to appointments, four to eight hours per month. Call 919-460-0567 or visit www.volunteercaregiving.org for more information or to volunteer.

Bereavement camp

Comfort Zone is seeking 65-80 volunteers for a three-day weekend bereavement camp program that will be held at Camp Kanata in Wake Forest on March 28-30, 2014. The program will serve children ages 7-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or guardian. For more information, call 804-337-3430 ext. 208.
