Wake Forest police request FBI, SBI assistance to find missing man

From staff reportsApril 8, 2014

— Police have requested assistance from the FBI and the SBI while they investigate the disappearance of a local man.

Frank Arthur Janssen, 63, went bike riding at about 9 a.m. Saturday and returned home, police said. When his wife returned later in the day, he was not home and she saw what appeared to be drops of blood outside their home at 1401 Sky Hill Place.

Janssen has not had any contact with friends or family since Saturday, officials said.

Janssen lived and worked in the Washington, D.C., area during the week. Police said they do not believe his disappearance is related to his work.

Janssen is a white man, about 5’9” and 175 lbs. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who may have seen Janssen Saturday or who observed suspicious activity around the house should call the Wake Forest Police Department at 919-554-6150.
